Studio equipment. It's all rather more'ish. From time to time items are purchased and kind of forgotten after minimal use. The Mode Machines x0xRack was one such instrument for me. The fact I already had a great x0xb0x didn't matter. I needed one. Fast forward a few years and trying to make room in the rack for a ridiculously low quality 80's Digitech effects unit (I forget the model) I'd won on ebay for under £20, and the x0xRack was in my sights for selling. Alas, what happens 95% of the time I try to sell any piece of equipment, I fully test it and end up finding something to love and ultimately end up keeping.

The 4 tracks that make up this EP are what I recorded that evening back in 2019. Just the x0xRack, and if I remember correctly, just a few effects pedals, the horrendous Digitech effects rack, an Akai S1000 for the drums on the 4th track and sequenced on an Analogue Solutions Europa I still had at the time.

And yes, I still have the x0xRack. And yes, I don't think I've used it since these were recorded.
